Dear riders,
On August 23 and 24, you will take part in the 24 Heures Vélo Škoda on the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans. This 16th edition has been fully booked since January, with 3200 race bibs snapped up in just a few hours. Coming from around fifteen countries and racing solo or in teams of 2, 4, 6, or 8, you will set off for 24 hours of relay racing on the legendary Le Mans circuit.
We would also like to remind you that reading the race regulations is mandatory. Furthermore, to keep traffic flowing smoothly in the paddock area, no additional vehicle access passes will be sold on-site. However, a free car park will be available for you at the Houx annex.
Nacer Bouhanni, a professional cyclist from 2011 to 2023, will participate as part of Team Compex and will kick off the race on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Over the course of his career, the Epinal-born rider took part in four Tours de France, four Tours of Spain, and two Tours of Italy. His track record includes more than 70 professional wins, including six Grand Tour stage victories – three in the Giro and three in the Vuelta. French road champion in 2012, he established himself as one of the best French sprinters of his generation.
As for the overall classification victory, this edition looks particularly open. Teams Chasse Patate and Frive, both showing strong ambitions, are expected to be top contenders. Team Esprit Vélo, a regular in the top 10, will also be in the mix.
In the women’s category, all eyes will be on Sprinteur Club Féminin as they return to defend their title. They will face stiff competition from Team MSV Féminine, second in 2024 but victorious in 2023. The battle between these two teams promises to be intense.
For visitors, entry is free. Parking will be accessible from Avenue du Panorama (“Red Parking”), and pedestrian access will be through the Panorama Entrance. The full event program is available below.
The “Matinale Le Maine Libre-La Sarthe”, a one-hour family ride, will take place on Saturday, August 23, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. On this occasion, young and old alike will get to discover the legendary Bugatti circuit at a relaxed pace. Please note that wearing a helmet is mandatory and speed will be limited to 30 km/h.
